LIVE-IN-LAB PLASTICHE DEMOKRATIE
In the words of Raumlabor:
Over the course of a week, the protocols of democratic city-making will be questioned in five different workshops, new collective forms of living together will be explored in democratic theoretical studios and tested in artistic actions. Invited residents and chroniclers will accompany the Live-in Lab like free radicals in their own formal language. The open spatial structure allows situations of working, cooking and living together to merge with the urban space and become a place of encounter and conversation.
When talking about public space, we suggest to be aware, that it is the bodily and physical act of presence and interaction, that turn a space from any open space to a public space. In our workshop we would like to discuss different understandings of the relation of the self to the common and the public and develop and enact a series of collective exercises of becoming public - of turning a space into a public space. Topics to be discussed include: conflict, dissent, hosting, generosity, tolerance, agency. We will sit and discuss, create objects as support structures for our being public and probe the city together in various ways. Ludger Schwarte will be joining for some of the conversations and actions.
Live-in-Lab workshops led by Raumlabor, Collectif Etc, STEALTH.unlimited, Arnold Dreyblatt and Kaltwasser/Fraas/Ronz.
DAILY LOG BOOK COMING SOON.
